Product Description:
45XH2MОА is a low-carbon alloy steel that delivers exceptional strength and toughness after heat treatment. The presence of chromium and molybdenum improves its resistance to wear and enhances its ability to retain mechanical properties under high-stress conditions. Nickel provides additional toughness and moderate corrosion resistance.

Heat Treatment:
- Normalizing: Heated to 850–900°C, followed by air cooling, to refine the grain structure.
- Quenching: Heated to 850–880°C, then quenched in oil or water, to increase hardness and strength.
- Tempering: Performed at 200–300°C to enhance toughness and reduce brittleness.
- Stress Relieving: Conducted at 300–400°C to minimize residual stresses in welded or machined parts.
Applications:
- Aerospace: Structural components, landing gear, and high-stress assemblies.
- Automotive: Gears, shafts, and high-performance drivetrain components.
- Heavy Machinery: Load-bearing and wear-resistant parts.
- Oil and Gas: Components exposed to high stress and wear.
- Defense: Armor plates, gun barrels, and other military-grade components.
Corrosion Resistance
- Chromium and Nickel: Provide moderate resistance to atmospheric corrosion and oxidation.
- Molybdenum: Enhances resistance to pitting and wear in mildly aggressive environments.
- Limitations: Not designed for use in highly corrosive or marine environments. Additional protective coatings (e.g., nitriding, galvanizing) are recommended for harsh conditions.
