Maraging 350

Maraging 350 - Ultra-High Strength Steel Alloy

Maraging 350 is an ultra-high-strength, low-carbon, nickel-based steel alloy designed to provide superior mechanical properties such as exceptional tensile strength, toughness, and fatigue resistance. As part of the maraging steel family, Maraging 350 undergoes a special aging process (maraging) that enhances its strength while retaining good toughness and ductility. This alloy is known for its outstanding performance in high-stress and high-performance applications, particularly in industries such as aerospace, defense, tooling, and manufacturing.

The alloy’s strength is primarily achieved through the precipitation of intermetallic compounds during heat treatment, making it ideal for applications where high strength-to-weight ratios and resistance to wear and fatigue are crucial. Maraging 350 is commonly used in critical applications that require excellent mechanical properties at both room and elevated temperatures.
