Nimonic alloy 75 - A Nickel-Chromium Alloy
Nimonic alloy 75 is made from nickel and chromium with modulated supplements of carbon and titanium. It was first used for turbine blades in prototype Whittle jet engines. It is also utilised for sheet applications that require scaling and oxidation resistance along with medium strength at high temperatures. It is used in applications like furnace components and gas turbine engineering.
